NEWSEUM

Today's Newseum front cover shows different articles that are being featured through a slide. I was intrigued by Anchorman's slide. Very colorful and pretty interesting. The Page makes me want to go visit Newseum because it has so much history behind journalism. I think it's really cool that they feature videos on the exhibitions of the museum. They have slides on Pictures of the year, Anchorman, Pulitzer prize photographs, National cherry blossom festival and inside Tim Russter's office. The design of the front page looks pretty cool, full of color and it feels like a blog in a sense.

The links are clear in all caps and white font, which not many newspaper site or blog sites can pull off but it goes with this one due to the fact that the box that the font is in for the links, are grey. The main colors are blue, grey and white. When the slides come up I see a pop of bright colors such as red, yellow, orange, pink and a little of neutral colors. Stories that are available to look have decent sized images next to the links and the small description of the stories. On the right hand side there are link to purchase tickets for the actual museum, shop online link and today’s front pages.
